Cousins score matching Perfect Weekends!
By Jean Guyon
Little Miss Taylor and her glorious cousin Whimsy outdid themselves at the Takes 2 To Q CPE trial this weekend, both going 8 for 8 on some super smooth courses by fave judge Judy Raffone. Miss Tay ran fast and happy for 7 runs with dad and a great FH run with mom too! Who could ask for anything more?? Ms. Whimsy rocked out on all her runs, showing her younger cousin how it’s done. Nicely done, ladies!
This was T2TQ’s first trial in our new location at Working Dogs in Amsterdam and we are grateful to have such a hospitable place to play. So many folks worked so hard to move all our supplies and equipment to off-site storage and then to and from the trial itself—many, many thanks to all who pitched in to help! And thanks to Trial Chair Urszula Janicki and her backup crew (Club Chair Caroline Mosca, you rock!), Trial Secretary Extraordinaire Dottie Piroha, our CCB’s Gary Guyon & James T Brown and every club member and volunteer who helped make this weekend go so smoothly. Y’all showed up to make it happen in a big way!
Aside from the perfect weekends and the time spent with our dogs, our hearts were warmed by the generosity of so many donors who supported our Special Raffle to benefit canine cancer research, a cause near and dear to so many hearts. And we also want to thank each and every person who donated to the 50/50 and Vermonster Basket raffles to benefit Urszula. Your good will makes a real difference. ![]()

Of course the real stars of the show are the dogs, and for every run—perfect or not-we count ourselves so lucky to have the partners we have. So today and every day we say #YayforTay!! ![]()
