On Sept. 26, 2015, three of our members, Tom Fish, Julie Mihalcik, and Nancy Oliver, participated in an agility demo at the Purple Pooch Parade at Congress Park in Saratoga Springs. The parade was a fund-raiser by Wellspring to raise money to help care for the pets of residents of Saratoga County who are victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault. We set up a small ring, about 50 feet by 50 feet near the Saratoga Springs War Memorial. We played agility with our dogs from about 10 am till a little after noon. The weather was perfect. There were lots of spectators. Overall it was a fun day. Since Geoffrey, Savannah, and Bandit were the only dogs playing at the demo, they got a lot of exercise playing agility today.
